Public events fall into two types:

Signing - Robert will be available to sign your book and have a brief chat if the queue isn't too big! The signing ends when the queue runs out, so please arrive within 30 minutes of the start time to avoid disappointment!

Talk & Signing- Robert will talk for around 30 minutes and then take questions for 20-30 minutes. This is always followed by a signing.

How many of my books will Robert sign? Robert will try to sign any books you bring to the event. However, at very popular events we may have to impose a limit so that his hand doesn't fall off!

Can we take a photo with Robert when he signs? This is usually OK, however, it depends on the venue and the number of people who turn up. Please be quick and make sure that the photographer knows how to work the camera while you're in the queue!

I can't make it to the signing, can a reserve a book to collect later?
Most bookshops are happy to do this. Just give them a call to reserve your copy.

When do events take place?
Robert's public events usually take place at locations around the UK in the weeks following the release of a book.

He may also appear at literary festivals at other times of year, particularly during the summer months.
